#77: How Can You Be Here?
Hey guys, after much deliberation and much anxiety, and much trying-to-fix-my-graphics-tablet (which is a Wacom Graphire 4 actually. Yeah. I know. It's freaking old), I have resorted to borrowing my brother's Wacom Intuos Draw tablet. Still trying to get used to it. It feels so weird, and it's smaller than my old one, but it will have to do for a while.
Strip number 77 is finally uploaded and scheduled to be released publicly on MONDAY! That's right, the 2016 season of "Idiocy and Lunacy" is set to start on Monday the 18th of July, and will be following the schedule of a new strip being released every Monday.
But seriously, it's been a year (in the comic I said two years, my bad), and my humour has changed a lot (I think) and I have changed a lot as a person, so I will be doing some drastic changes to the webcomic.
Don't worry, it's still going to be a comedy webcomic. I'll just explain everything, three panels at a time, as right now I'm continuing with the whole Question series of strips (with questions as the titles...basically the three that I released in 2015 and Monday's one).
And that includes the look of the comic - not character-wise, I'm too lazy and too blegh at drawing detailed characters consistently, but in the way I make the panels, how many panels, etc.
But Gorram, it's been so long since I drew this characters, I had such big plans for all the story-series, but now I've lost all my plans (story of my life), and I've forgotten what I was planning to do.
Like, did you know that in the original version of "Idiocy and Lunacy", the Superheroes series had over 70 strips. I drew nearly 300 of those bad-boys, but then I lost the spare school notebook that I was using to keep them. I just loved that Spider-Man character so much, and I had so many jokes that no one will ever see again, and that's just sad.
Anywho, I don't wanna give anything specific away with what I'm planning to do with the webcomic, and there are still a lot of things up in the air (for example, when do I want to finish the webcomic and try out new things), but there are going to be a lot of changes that will be explained over a couple more strips. So look forward to that.
I am really excited to be back to work on this webcomic as it's something that gets my creative juices going, along with making YouTube videos and writing. And I am definitely going to be posting one strip per Monday. I will not fall behind anymore. And I will continue to bring one strip per Monday till "A Little Bit of Idiocy and Lunacy" ends.
That is a promise.
